Action Research Plans
Action Research is a great way for educator's to have a more hands-on approach to problem solving. Instead of relying on research that is developed and completed on "outsiders", administrators and teachers can take situations going on within their school and develop solutions to improve their schools. Action Research Plans are very beneficial for the developement and growth of administrators, teachers and other educators. They are able to honestly reflect on themselves and their school and decide what areas need improvements. Having educators complete action research plans allows them to be even more vested in the outcome. Working through problems within the action research plan is closer to a business model, that problems are identified and groups of stakeholders brainstorm, research, develop solutions and implement the choosen solutions. Action Research plans can bring new life into a educational system and help educators reflect within themselves and help bring change within the system.
